LEADING FERRO ALLOY UNIT AT CHANDRAPUR

Registered under the Companies Act, 1956, G.R. Krishna has its office at – CF-361, Salt Lake City, Sector-I, Kolkata (WB) 700064 and its Factory at – B-5, Mul Industrial Area, MIDC, Chandrapur 441224.

This plant is spread over approx. 77 acres, and has manufacturing facilities for High Carbon Silico-Manganese and Ferro Manganese with 2 submerged arc furnaces of 9 MVA each, with a total capacity of 35000MTPA backed by a captive power plant of 18 MW.

We are also in the process of expanding two more furnaces of 9 MVA each in the next couple of years.

We are one of the very few companies in the Sponge Iron, MS Ingots and Ferro Alloys fields in India to have become completely self-sufficient in terms of our energy requirements. Also, important raw materials like Manganese Ore are procured from the best suppliers, viz., MOIL / imported. We are well on our way to achieving self-sufficiency in other mineral resources too.

AN INTEGRATED STEEL & POWER PLANT IN CHHATTISGARH

Kusum Smelters Pvt. Ltd.

Incorporated in August 2020, Kusum Smelters is promoted by Krishna Group establishing an integrated mini steel plant consisting of 3 Units, DRI Sponge Iron Unit, Ferro-Alloy Unit, and Power Plant Unit at Dhamni Mungeli, Chhattisgarh. The Project would be developed at a cost of 350 Crore.

The Greenfield project involves the implementation of 2 x 350 TPD DRI Kiln, 1 X 9 MVA SAF Ferro-Alloy, 16 MW Power Plant (2 x 8 MW WHRB). The land area of the project is approx 18.69 hector (Approx)

DRI unit: The proposed DRI production capacity will have two 350 TPD Kilns with an overall capacity of 2,45,000 TPA

Ferro Alloy unit: The proposed Ferro Alloy production capacity will have two 2*6 MVA Furnaces, with an overall capacity of 2,45,000 TPA.

Power Plant: The Generation capacity of power plant per annum would be 1,14,048 MWh>
