THE VISIONARY BEGINNINGS

1991

Shri Arjun Lal Agarwal saw a huge opportunity in speciality chemicals – a niche segment that is the very basis of all major industrial products, be it cement, aluminium, paper, explosives or fertilizer. This took shape with India’s economic liberalization in 1991 when industrialization was starting to bloom in all parts of the country.

1993

The foundation of Krishna Speciality Chemicals in Bilaspur was set up to meet the demand potential of the nation. Today, it is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Speciality Chemicals in India.

Decade 2

A Giant Leap Towards Becoming A Market Leader

2000

When the new state of Chhattisgarh was formed and was in the initial stage of development, Krishna United saw a massive opportunity in the Minerals and Power Sector in the state.

2003

With that vision, the group forayed into setting up Hind Energy & Coal Beneficiation (India) Ltd. Today, HECB is one of the most dominant player in Coal Operations in the highest combined output of coal in the country from the mineral-rich states of Chhattisgarh & Orissa

It closely works with all major powerhouses owned by the government of India for Coal Washery, Coal Trading, and Coal Logistics via their own railway siding.

Decade 3

TRANSFORMING MARKETS TO BECOME
AN INDUSTRIAL POWERHOUSE.

2011

The booming economy of Chhattisgarh and its growing appetite for modern real estate, gave the impetus to Krishna United in venturing into the real estate business with two unique projects

RAMA MAGNETO, an internationally designed shopping centre of 5 lakh sq. ft. in Bilaspur.

SWARNABHOOMI, an ultra-modern concept of “15 minute City” spread across 500 acres in Raipur.
Both projects created a niche amongst the segment and set new benchmarks in the region for others to take inspiration.

Later in the decade – During the latter part of the decade, Krishna United was already established as one of the largest business conglomerates of Chhattisgarh spreading across 5 major sectors -Industrial Chemicals, Coal Industry, Real Estate, Paints & Wall Décor, Wall Care Putty & White Cement.
